The process begins with the design creation. We create intricate patterns and motifs, these designs are carefully transcribed onto paper or fabric.

Then our skilled block makers meticulously carve these designs onto wooden blocks.

 

Each block is typically made of a durable and fine-grained wood, such as teak or rosewood.

A separate block is carved for each colour in the design. 

We then select our high-quality natural fabrics. The fabric is usually pre-treated to remove any sizing and ensure that it's ready for printing.
